Intel is opening a new research and development facility in a colocation facility that belongs to CtrlS Datacenters in Bengaluru, India.  This development marks the latest extension of Intel's global advanced data center development labs. This state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to developing cutting-edge microprocessor architectures at scale.

Furthermore, this move will grant Intel access to CtrlS' partner ecosystem, which comprises memory vendors and system original design manufacturers (ODMs).

This development lab will enable at-scale testing to construct the most dependable and high-quality computing systems in the world. Sridhar Pinnapureddy, Chairman of CtrlS Datacenters, said, “The launch of Intel's next-gen processor lab in our Bangalore data center takes our collaboration to new heights.”  He also added that Intel and CtrlS have been partners for over 15 years.

CtrlS Data Centers currently operates 12 data centers with a total capacity of 234 MW across seven cities, which include Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Noida, Lucknow, and Patna. The company has plans to develop three more data centers this year.
