Funds co-managed by CVI Dom Maklerski have provided USD 12.31 million in debt financing to WBS Power S.A., according to an announcement published by the Warsaw-based investment firm.

The financing is structured as secured bond financing and will support the development of two hybrid energy projects comprising photovoltaic (PV) installations with a combined capacity of 29 MWp and a battery energy storage system rated at 10 MW / 45 MWh.

Use of Proceeds

The transaction will enable WBS Power to fund the remaining capital expenditures associated with the construction of the projects and to refinance part of the company's existing debt.

CVI described the deal as another example of how private debt can effectively support the development of energy projects by providing capital during the construction phase and enabling investors to bring projects into operation efficiently.

EU Support

The transaction benefits from European Union support under the InvestEU Fund, according to the announcement.
