ACME Solar Holdings Limited, through its subsidiary ACME Renewtech Private Limited, has commissioned an additional 66.68 megawatts (MW) of solar capacity at its hybrid renewable energy project in Kelan Village, Bikaner, Rajasthan.

ACME Solar Hybrid Project Reaches 200.04 MW Operational Capacity

The latest addition brings the project's operational capacity to 200.04 MW and increases ACME Solar's overall operational capacity to approximately 3,190 MW.

The newly commissioned capacity has a Commercial Operation Date (COD) of November 4, 2026. The project combines solar and wind power generation to support a more diversified renewable energy supply and improve the availability of clean electricity.

Rajasthan Hybrid Project Expands Solar Capacity

The commissioning forms part of ACME Solar's ongoing development of its 300 MW solar component at the Rajasthan hybrid project. The company plans to progressively commission the entire solar capacity by the end of the third quarter of fiscal year 2027.

ACME Solar has secured a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NTPC Limited for the project at a tariff of USD 0.0354 per kilowatt-hour (kWh). The long-term power supply arrangement provides a contractual framework for the electricity generated by the facility.

The integration of wind and solar generation is intended to support a more balanced renewable energy portfolio, combining different generation sources to improve power supply flexibility.

ACME Solar's Contracted Portfolio Reaches 8,370 MW

The latest commissioning supports ACME Solar's broader strategy to expand its presence across India's renewable energy sector.

The company currently has a total contracted portfolio of 8,370 MW, covering solar, wind, hybrid renewable energy, energy storage, and Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) projects.

In addition to its generation portfolio, ACME Solar has 5.64 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity, reflecting its growing focus on energy storage and reliable electricity supply.

Integrated Capabilities Support Project Execution

ACME Solar operates an integrated business model supported by in-house engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and operations and maintenance (O&M) capabilities. These functions support project development, construction, and long-term asset management.

The commissioning of the additional 66.68 MW further expands the company's operational renewable energy capacity and advances its plans to develop a diversified portfolio of solar, wind, hybrid, and energy storage assets across India.
