AdaniConneX and Google AI data center campus
Adani Enterprises, through its joint venture AdaniConneX (Adani Enterprises and EdgeConneX 50:50 partnership), partnered with Google to develop India’s largest AI data centre campus. The campus will also feature new green energy infrastructure and a fibre optic network.
The campus is planned in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, with an investment of USD 15 billion. It will be built in multiple phases over five years from 2026 to 2030. The project is planned with a 1 GW capacity and will be Google’s largest AI hub outside the U.S. It will feature a subsea cable network and will be powered by renewable energy.
In October 2025, Airtel and Google formed a strategic partnership for India's first mega AI hub and data center in Vizag. This gigawatt data center will be used for AI workloads along with a subsea Cable Landing Station (CLS) for Google’s international cables, and a high-speed fibre network (intra-city & inter-city) via Airtel.
Reliance Jamnagar Data Center
Reliance Industries in January 2025 announced a 1 GW data center project aiming to increase the data center capacity to 3 GW. The project is being planned in Jamnagar, Gujarat, aiming to be one of the world's largest data centers. It's designed to support large-scale AI infrastructure, which will support many foundational large language models.
Reliance has announced a partnership with NVIDIA Corporation for its chips and processors to power its data center. The Jamnagar data center is planned to be powered by renewable energy. This project is expected to triple India's total data center capacity once operational.
CtrlS Chandan Valley Campus
*CtrlS Chandan Valley Campus
CtrlS Datacenters is developing a state-of-the-art data center campus in the CtrlS Chandan Valley Industrial Park near Hyderabad. The CtrlS Chandan Valley Campus will span 40 acres and will deliver over 612 MW of IT capacity. CtrlS has already secured 250 MW of sanctioned power capacity for phase 1 of development.
The campus will have 6 data center buildings with 5101 racks spread across an area of 16,12,700 Sq.ft. It will have a security level of Zone 9, which will include core / critical infrastructure areas (UPS rooms, power switchgear, network core, command center).
CtrlS Chandan Valley Campus will feature multiple high-density, interconnected data centers incorporating advanced technologies such as solar module facades, free air-cooling, direct liquid cooling, and immersion cooling. The campus will also feature a dedicated Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) with an expandable capacity up to 900 MW. This GIS will support the data center's energy needs. The construction of the campus began in September 2025 and is anticipated to become operational by the first of 2027-28.
