The Nordex Group has secured a 325 MW wind energy order in the United States, the German turbine manufacturer announced on June 29, 2026. The contract covers the supply of 55 turbines of the N163/5.X type, drawn from the company's Delta4000 technology platform. Neither the customer nor the project name has been disclosed.

The order adds to Nordex's growing footprint in the North American market, with the Hamburg-headquartered company confirming that the turbines will be manufactured in the United States.

Nordex operates a manufacturing facility in Iowa, and the company emphasized that the products destined for this project fall under what it describes as "Made in USA" credentials.

The N163/5.X turbine belongs to Nordex's Delta4000 series, a product line the company positions for large-scale onshore wind development. The designation indicates a rotor diameter of 163 meters with power output in the 5 megawatt-plus class, a range the company says is designed to address markets where available land is limited or grid capacity is constrained.

At 325 MW across 55 units, the average per-turbine capacity for this order works out to just under 6 MW, consistent with the flexible output configurations available within the 5.X designation used for the N163 platform.
