The 7SeasMed Floating Offshore Wind Project, a 255 MW initiative, has received approval for its Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) from the Italian Ministry for Environment and Energy Security. Copenhagen Offshore Partners (COP) leads the development efforts for this project.

7SeasMed is part of a larger 3GW offshore wind portfolio in Italy, jointly owned by GreenIT and the CIP partnership, with COP serving as the lead development partner. This portfolio includes projects such as Ichnusa (504 MW, Sardinia), Tyrrhenian (500 MW, Latium), Nurax (500 MW, Sardinia), and Poseidon (1000 MW, Sardinia).
