Recently, the group announced its plans to establish a green hydrogen and green ammonia manufacturing facility with a capacity of 0.5 MTPA at Tata Steel SEZ Industrial Park in Gopalpur, Odisha. This initiative further solidifies Avaada’s pioneering role in the renewable energy market.

Objectives of this Agreement

Avaada Group's decision to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mysore Ammonia for the off-take of green ammonia is a strategic move that aligns with global environmental goals and India's energy independence aspirations. Here are the reasons for this significant agreement:

Advancing India's Net-Zero Targets: Avaada Group's commitment to India's 2070 net-zero targets drives the MoU. The green ammonia facility in Odisha, with a production capacity of 1 million tons per annum, is a step towards reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable energy sources.

Technological Innovation and Leadership: Avaada Group is positioning itself as a leader in clean energy solutions. The green ammonia facility represents a significant investment in innovative technology that can replace fossil fuels in high-temperature heat industries, such as foundries, glass, and steelmakers.

Strategic Partnership: The collaboration with Mysore Ammonia allows Avaada to secure a reliable off-take partner for its green ammonia production. This partnership ensures a steady demand for the product, making the investment more viable and the project more sustainable in the long run.
