The order involves the supply of 586 megawatts (MW) worth of solar modules to a prominent U.S.-based developer and operator of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects.

This contract marks one of the largest single-module supply agreements for Waaree Solar Americas and highlights growing international demand for Indian-manufactured solar technology.

Order Details

The order was confirmed on May 28, 2025, and the project is scheduled to commence deliveries from the financial year 2026-27. The identity of the client remains undisclosed, but Waaree described the customer as a renowned U.S. entity with deep involvement in renewable infrastructure. The contract is classified as a one-time supply arrangement and does not fall under related party transactions.
