Sudeep Pharma Limited has received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration for its new greenfield manufacturing facility located at 179 Nandesari, Gujarat.

FDA Clearance Opens the Door to Production

The approval, announced by the company, authorizes the commencement of manufacturing operations at the site and marks a significant milestone in the company's expansion strategy.

The facility carries an annual installed capacity of 51,200 metric tons, a substantial addition to the company's manufacturing capabilities. According to the company's announcement, the new site is intended to cater to growing demand across the pharmaceutical, food, and nutrition sectors, with commercial supplies expected to begin in the second half of fiscal year 2027, following the completion of customer qualification processes.

Capacity Allocation and Product Diversification

Approximately 60 percent of the facility's capacity will be allocated to Sudeep Pharma's existing Pharma and Food & Nutrition portfolios. The remaining capacity will be dedicated to newer product categories, including phosphates, glycinates, gluconates, and citrates.

The facility has also been designed to accommodate high-value ingredients and new-age molecules, such as bisglycinates. According to the company, this will help diversify its product offerings and strengthen its presence in regulated markets.

The new capacity is expected to strengthen the company's manufacturing capabilities across its key business segments: Pharma, Food & Nutrition, and Specialty Ingredients.

The approval will enable the company to meet growing demand from both domestic and international markets more effectively, according to the announcement.
