Pure Data Centers Group (Pure DC) has announced a USD 780 million Platform Growth Facility with a $1.1 billion accordion, creating a financing framework that can expand to approximately USD 1.9 billion.
New Leaders
The hyperscale cloud and AI infrastructure platform, which operates across Europe and the Middle East, said the facility attracts three new lenders and broadens the company's funding base.
The new lenders joining the facility are Citigroup Global Markets, First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) and Infranity. They join existing supporters ABN AMRO, Allianz Global Investors, and SMBC. According to the company, the expanded lender group brings together global banks and institutional investors from Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the United States.

Leadership Points to Secured Power Sites as Core of the Strategy
Gary Wojtaszek, Executive Chairman and interim CEO of Pure DC, said attracting new lenders and broadening the funding base was a strong endorsement of the company's differentiated strategy.
He described the business as a pan-European and Middle East cloud and AI infrastructure operation rooted in secured power sites and backed by teams that know how to deliver. That combination, he said, gives customers and lenders confidence in the company's ability to turn its pipeline into operating capacity.
Wojtaszek also pointed to progress across the wider business, noting repeated awards for sustainability, environmental transformation and engineering that recognize the work of Pure DC's people in delivering infrastructure while reducing its environmental impact. The new financing, he said, gives the company greater capacity to advance that program.

Facility to Fund Development Pipeline and Future Site Acquisitions
The Platform Growth Facility will support Pure DC's development pipeline and the acquisition of future sites across Europe and the Middle East. The announcement follows a series of substantial financing actions over the past year. In May, the company announced USD 2.7 billion, comprising a USD 2.15 billion facility secured against its Dublin and Amsterdam campuses and an increase in corporate-level financing to USD 550 million. In July, Pure DC secured a further USD 1.46 billion of committed senior debt for Phase 1 of its Seinäjoki AI campus in Finland.
With the latest announcement, financing over the past 12 months now totals more than USD 6.2 billion, which the company says provides significant financial flexibility to execute its growth strategy and reinforces its position as a key player in the European and Middle East data center markets.
Mike Schwartz, Chief Financial Officer, said the participation of new banks and institutional investors reflects confidence in the company's assets, customer relationships, and delivery record.
He described the facility as strengthening the corporate funding base, complementing the financing arranged for individual campuses and providing a framework to raise additional capital as the pipeline advances.
Six Awards Across Sustainability, Engineering, and Project Delivery
The financing success follows a series of 2026 awards spanning sustainability, engineering, and project delivery. Pure DC won the Business Transformation Award at the Reuters Global Sustainability Awards, along with Green Business of the Year and the Green ICT, Media & Telecommunications Award at the Green Awards UK.
The company says these honors recognize a sustainability program embedded in how it designs, builds, and operates its infrastructure. That work includes lower-carbon energy solutions, reducing water use and embodied carbon across its campuses, and investment in carbon removal through its climate technology subsidiary, A Healthier Earth.
On the project side, the Dublin campus microgrid won New Build Project of the Year at the Data Center Review Excellence Awards and Digital Infrastructure Project of the Year at the Building Innovation Awards. Pure DC's AUH01 campus was named a national winner in the Industrial Project of the Year category at the MEED Projects Awards.
Taken together, the six company and project awards, alongside individual honors, commendations, and shortlist recognition, demonstrate progress across Pure DC's sustainability, engineering, and people programs, according to the company.
Lenders Frame the Facility Within Broader Infrastructure Strategies
Senior figures from the lending group commented on their involvement. Timo Buijs, Co-Head of Digital Infrastructure Finance at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., said the bank was pleased to support Pure DC with the strategic Platform Growth Facility, which will enable further infrastructure developments and platform growth. He congratulated the Pure DC team on the increased capital support at what he described as a very important moment.
Ashish Agrawal, Global Co-Head of AI Infrastructure Coverage at Citigroup Global Markets, said the financing represents an important milestone for Pure DC and demonstrates the confidence of lenders and Citigroup Global Markets in the company's strategy, platform, asset base and execution capabilities. He said the bank was proud to play a leading role in supporting Pure DC's continued expansion across key data center markets.
Georgios Tzimas, Investment Executive Director at Infranity, said the firm is pleased to support Pure DC and Oaktree in the continued development of an international hyperscale data center platform.
He said the investment reflects Infranity's strategy of backing essential, asset-intensive infrastructure supported by long-term demand fundamentals, and demonstrates the firm's ability to provide sizeable and flexible capital solutions to established sponsors and management teams as they deliver the next phase of their growth.
Luke Hanson, Managing Director and Head of TMT at SMBC, said the bank is delighted to continue supporting Pure DC as the business enters its next phase of growth.
He noted that the further diversification of the funding base provides Pure DC with the resources for future growth underpinned by access to power and a focus on asset quality and delivery. SMBC's involvement in the facility continues a relationship that already spans cloud and AI infrastructure across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
The announcement comes at a moment of accelerating capital formation in the data centre sector, with Pure DC's latest facility adding to a year of financing activity that the company says positions it to convert its development pipeline into operating capacity across its core markets.
