The government plans to invest heavily in creating a robust infrastructure for solar rooftop deployment. This includes establishing manufacturing units for solar panels and other components, setting up training centers for technicians, and streamlining the approval process for installations.

The Surya Ghar Yojana offers financial incentives to homeowners and resident welfare associations to install solar panels on their rooftops. The program aims to generate 40 gigawatts of solar power by 2030, significantly reducing India's dependence on fossil fuels and contributing to its climate change goals.

This initiative will focus on extensive public awareness campaigns to educate citizens about the benefits of solar energy and encourage participation. Additionally, capacity-building programs will be implemented to train technicians and installers, ensuring the smooth implementation of the scheme.
