Honeywell has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Green Solutions Group Corporation (TGS) for the development of the USD 341 million Tra Vinh green hydrogen project. This joint venture aims to harness Honeywell’s battery energy storage systems alongside TGS’s renewable energy resources to produce green hydrogen.

Vietnam's Prime Minister, Pham Minh Chinh, has voiced his support for this innovative collaboration, affirming, "The partnership between The Green Solutions Group and Honeywell underscores our dedication to leveraging technology for sustainable development." Prime Minister Chinh emphasized the pivotal role of integrating smart energy storage solutions in achieving the nation's clean energy objectives.

Moreover, the Vietnamese government is actively implementing policy measures to formulate a comprehensive clean hydrogen strategy. The Ministry of Industry and Trade recently convened a conference to discuss the implementation of Vietnam's Hydrogen Energy Development Strategy until 2030, with a vision for 2050.
