DigitalBridge and Silver Lake to invest $6.4 billion into Vantage Data Centers

Private equity firms DigitalBridge and Silver Lake are set to invest USD 6.4 billion in Vantage Data Centers. Vantage Data Centers plans to allocate $30 billion for the development of data centers. The company aims to establish data center facilities across North America and EMEA, expanding its capabilities across countries to meet the growing demand for cloud and AI services.

Vantage currently owns and operates 25 Data Center facilities in North America and EMEA, with a total expected capacity of over 3 GW. The company also operates some sites across APAC. In addition to this, Australian Super has invested USD 1.6 billion in Vantage EMEA.

The data center facility project is located in Arizona. This phase is expected to be operational in spring 2024, adding to the existing 48 MW campus.

KUL2 Hyperscale Data Center Campus, Cyberjaya, Malaysia

This massive project will span 256 MW across 10 facilities and 256,000 square meters. The first facility is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2025.
