Larsen & Toubro (L&T), one of the largest construction companies in India, has secured a large (USD 300 million–USD 600 million) order from the Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for the Daman Upside Development Project-Wellhead Platforms & Pipelines (DUDP-WP), off India’s west coast.

The scope of work includes engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of four wellhead platforms, a 140-km pipeline, and associated topside modifications at the Tapti Daman block at a Western offshore location. The project underlines ONGC's trust in L&T's expertise in executing upstream projects, which has been forged through the successful execution of multiple complex upstream projects in India.
