NTT Ltd. announced the launch of its new data centre campus, named Noida 2, as well as the opening of its first data center located in the Delhi NCR (National Capital Region). The data center campus covers an area of six acres. The campus is expected to have an IT capacity of 52.8 MW.

The first data center delivered today will support a 22.4 MW IT load with an area of 300,000 sq. ft. Additionally, this is the first data center campus in India to incorporate seismic dampers, ensuring uninterrupted operations even during significant seismic events.The campus is situated in Noida’s data center corridor within the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR).

It is interconnected with NTT's other data centre locations for minimal latency and is carrier neutral; it also provides seamless access to premier public cloud providers. Superior levels of automation that monitor and optimise facility resources and operations, such as water and electricity, are among its advanced features.

Shekhar Sharma, CEO of NTT GDC India, said, “The launch of our new campus in Noida is a significant milestone in our growth journey in India.". With this launch, NTT’s Global Data Centers division expanded its India footprint to more than 265 MW with 18 data centers across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru.
