Nordex Group Secures 123 MW Wind Farm Orders from DenkerWulf in Germany
The Nordex Group announced on November 12, 2025, that it has received three new orders from DenkerWulf for wind turbines with a combined capacity of 122.7 megawatts in Germany. The orders include 25 wind turbines across three projects in Schleswig-Holstein, with installation scheduled to begin in 2027 and commissioning planned for 2028.
Project Details and Turbine Specifications
The three wind farms will be constructed at different locations in Schleswig-Holstein. The Galmsbüll Bahrenhof wind farm will feature three N149/5.X turbines, while the Galmsbüll Park wind farm will house 18 N133/4800 turbines. The Padenstedt wind farm will be equipped with four N133/4800 turbines.
Hub heights vary across projects based on location and wind conditions. The turbines at the Galmsbüll projects, located near the North Sea coast, will have hub heights ranging from 105 to 110 meters. At the inland Padenstedt location, turbines will be installed with hub heights ranging from 110 to 125 meters.
Service Agreement and Partnership Details
As part of the agreement, Nordex will maintain all 25 turbines under a premium service contract for 20 years following their commissioning. This service arrangement is designed to ensure the sustainable operation of the turbines throughout their operational lifecycle.
Thomas Behrendt, Head of Wind Turbine Procurement and Site Manager Rostock at Denker & Wulf AG, highlighted the partnership's success, noting that Denker & Wulf MW recently surpassed the 500-MW commissioning milestone in Germany with Nordex. He noted that the companies have completed repowering in Galmsbüll, describing it as "a location with very strong wind conditions" developed together with the community wind farm.

Strategic Significance and Market Position
Karsten Brüggemann, Vice President Region Central of the Nordex Group, indicated that DenkerWulf has placed nearly 144 MW of new orders with Nordex this year. The Galmsbüll project, with 18 turbines, is one of Nordex's largest in Germany. Brüggemann explained that the N133/4800 turbines are specifically designed for regions with strong wind conditions and can optimally utilize local wind resources in northern Germany even with lower hub heights.
The orders represent a continuation of the business relationship between the two companies, with Nordex describing DenkerWulf as one of Germany's leading onshore wind farm developers.
