Hyderabad-based Fourth Partner Energy Ltd. (FPEL) has partnered with Adani Wind to procure 165 megawatts (MW) of wind turbines for clean energy projects across India. The company announced in a social media post that the turbines will be installed in projects in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and Karnataka.

This announcement follows the recent inclusion of Adani Wind's four Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) in the Revised List of Models and Manufacturers (RLMM) by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).

Order Specifications and Technical Details

Adani Green Energy Limited stated that its partnership with Fourth Partner Energy on the 165-megawatt wind turbine order is part of its 304-megawatt commitment to independent power producers (IPPs) across India. The latest order is based on Adani Wind's UL-certified 3.3 MW turbine platform, which is listed on the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy's (MNRE) RLMM.

The turbine platform features a 164-meter rotor and a 140-meter hub height, according to Adani Wind. These specifications represent the technical capabilities of the wind turbines that will be deployed across the four-state project portfolio.

Srinivasa Male Reddy, Head of Operations at Fourth Partner Energy, described the partnership's significance beyond procurement. “This partnership with Adani Wind is more than just strategic procurement towards our portfolio target of 9 GW of clean energy assets by FY31. It is a joint step toward generational impact and leaving behind a greener tomorrow,” Reddy stated.
