Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Ltd (BCSSL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with ConnectM Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd to jointly develop an EdgeAI System-on-Chip tailored for next-generation automotive cybersecurity. The partnership is expected to generate an estimated USD 50 million in business over a five-year period from 2026 to 2030.

Partnership Structure and Revenue Sharing

Under the MoU, BCSSL will spearhead the architecture, design, and development of the semiconductor platform, while ConnectM brings expertise in automotive-grade hardware, diagnostics, and OEM-level integration. The agreement establishes a 50:50 net revenue-sharing arrangement from joint commercialization, subject to costs and applicable taxes.

While the SoC will be customized exclusively for ConnectM's onboard automotive platforms, BCSSL will retain ownership of the core intellectual property related to the semiconductor design and cybersecurity framework. The partnership is contingent upon execution of definitive agreements.

Technical Specifications and Applications

The EdgeAI SoC is being designed with advanced capabilities, including real-time cyber threat detection, intrusion prevention, and continuous security monitoring. The semiconductor platform will be engineered for integration into Telematics Control Units (TCUs), Vehicle Control Units (VCUs), and other critical electronic systems used in electric, connected, and software-defined vehicles.

The jointly developed semiconductor solutions will be engineered in compliance with global automotive safety and cybersecurity standards, including ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE WP.29 R155 and R156, ISO 26262, and other relevant international and Indian regulations. This ensures that the solutions are production-ready, certifiable, and suitable for deployment across global automotive markets.

The collaboration marks BCSSL's strategic entry into automotive semiconductor development, bringing together its strengths in cybersecurity software, artificial intelligence, and secure systems with ConnectM's expertise in automotive electronics and hardware.
