Assam Government signs investment agreements worth INR 22,900 Crore. It is a part of the Advantage Assam 2.0 initiative. The agreements were signed for 20 major projects across various sectors, including infrastructure, industry, and green energy.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma participated in the investment agreement exchange ceremony, where he stated that the signing of these agreements represents a significant advancement towards the state's developmental objectives.

Project Details

The projects include bridges, expressways, and solar power plants, as well as paper mills and recycling plants. Binding MoUs are being signed for committed proposals worth INR 22,900 crore in the execution stage, which includes pivotal projects in waste management, Tata Gateway, solar power production, and ethanol production. The conclusion of the Advantage Assam 2.0 was held in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
