The Adani Group is set to invest a total of $100 billion over the next ten years as it shifts towards green energy. Five of its group companies—Ambuja Cements, Adani Green Energy, Adani Energy Solutions, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, and ACC—have committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.

The Adani Group plans to establish three gigafactories for the production of solar panels (10 GW), wind turbines (10 GW), and hydrogen electrolyzers (5 GW). Furthermore, Adani aims to expand its renewable energy portfolio to 45 GW.

The group is actively engaged in the development of hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks and the establishment of a green hydrogen ecosystem in India. In addition, they have pledged to plant 100 million trees by 2030 to support decarbonization efforts. The five group companies are proactively adopting renewable energy solutions, electrifying operations, and incorporating biofuels.
