ACME Solar Holdings Limited has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Greentech Twenty Private Limited, has signed a Power Purchase Agreement with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) for a 300 MW assured peak power project.

Agreement Executed Under FDRE Tranche IX

The agreement has been executed under Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) Tranche IX, marking another step in the company's efforts to expand its renewable energy portfolio.

The signing, announced on October 19, 2026, places the project within SECI's FDRE framework, a tender structure designed to procure renewable energy that is firm and dispatchable rather than intermittent. Under the terms disclosed by the company, the project will supply assured peak power to the counterparty.

Tariff Fixed at USD 0.06 Per Unit

Under the agreement, the project will supply power at a tariff of USD 0.06 per unit. The tariff applies for the duration of the PPA, which will remain effective for 25 years from the scheduled commencement of power supply.

The 25-year term provides a long-duration contractual framework for the offtake arrangement between ACME Greentech Twenty Private Limited and SECI. The tariff and term together define the core commercial terms of the agreement as announced by ACME Solar Holdings Limited.

Scheduled Power Supply From April 2028

The project is scheduled to begin supplying electricity on April 6, 2028. From that date, the 25-year PPA period will run, keeping the arrangement in effect through the scheduled commencement of supply and beyond, in line with the terms of the agreement executed with SECI.

Solar Energy Corporation of India

Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited, the counterparty to the PPA, is the entity under whose FDRE Tranche IX tender the agreement was executed. SECI's role as the purchaser under the agreement was confirmed in the announcement made by ACME Solar Holdings Limited.

Project Structure and Ownership

The PPA has been signed by ACME Greentech Twenty Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Limited. The 300 MW assured peak power capacity covered under the agreement forms part of the parent company's stated efforts to expand its renewable energy portfolio.

What The Company Confirms

ACME Solar Holdings Limited's wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Greentech Twenty Private Limited, is the signing entity. Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited is the PPA counterparty.

The agreement covers a 300 MW assured peak power project. The contract was executed under FDRE Tranche IX. The tariff is USD 0.06 per unit. The PPA is effective for 25 years from the scheduled commencement of power supply. The scheduled commencement date for electricity supply is April 6, 2028.

The announcement, published by the company on October 19, 2026, attributed the details to ACME Solar Holdings Limited's disclosure of the agreement. Further specifics regarding project location, technology mix, or construction timelines were not included by the Company.

FDRE Tenders in India's Renewable Sector

Firm and dispatchable renewable energy tenders are a procurement mechanism under which SECI contracts for renewable power capacity that can be delivered on a firm and dispatchable basis, as reflected in the description of the 300 MW project as an assured peak power supply arrangement.

ACME Greentech Twenty Private Limited's agreement under Tranche IX of this framework adds the 300 MW project to the portfolio of ACME Solar Holdings Limited, consistent with the company's stated expansion efforts.

With the PPA now executed, the project's next milestone, as disclosed, is the scheduled commencement of electricity supply on April 6, 2028, at which point the 25-year agreement term begins.
