Data centers in France are rapidly scaling up not only in size but also in energy consumption and network impact. By the end of 2024, France’s inbound Internet interconnection capacity had reached 50.8 Tb/s, highlighting strong traffic growth and the country’s position as a major European digital hub. This surge in interconnection traffic drives the demand for more data centers across France.

With the increasing demand for data centers, along with operational data centers across Paris and Marseille, the country has announced several other large-scale data centers, like Paris AI Campus and Colt Villebon-sur-Yvette Data Center. Below is the list of upcoming data centers in France, ranked by capacity.
