The BESS project directly aligns with Helen's ambitious goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2030. By storing excess renewable energy during periods of high production and releasing it during peak demand, the BESS will help balance the grid and reduce reliance on fossil fuels, enhancing environmental sustainability and grid stability.

Olli Sirkka, CEO of Helen, emphasized the project's significance in achieving carbon neutrality and underscored its contribution to a more flexible and sustainable energy system. However, more details regarding Siemens' specific contributions and the technology employed in the BESS would provide a deeper understanding of the project's scope and impact.
