WinGD and OPearl LNG Ship Management Sign 15-Year Service Agreement Covering 14 Vessels
Swiss marine power company WinGD has signed a 15-year long-term service agreement with Hong Kong-based OPearl LNG Ship Management, covering 14 vessels in the company's LNG carrier fleet. The agreement was signed at Marintec in December 2025 and aims to ensure optimal engine performance, reliability, and efficiency as OPearl continues to meet the growing demand in global LNG markets.
Agreement Details and Engine Coverage
The long-term service agreement is part of Global Service by WinGD and provides comprehensive support for OPearl's engine fleet. The deal covers spare parts, field services, technical support, performance monitoring, maintenance planning, and crew training. Specifically, the agreement includes support for OPearl's four 6X72DF-2.2 engines and ten 5X72DF-2.1 engines across the 14 vessels.
The service package represents WinGD's commitment to supporting customers through the complete lifecycle of their fleet operations. The agreement is designed to provide vessels with maximum uptime and minimum disruption, which is critical for meeting tight delivery schedules in the global LNG market.
