Recent Contract Wins
This order follows another significant contract secured by Vikram Solar. On September 8, the company won a 336 MW solar module supply contract from L&T Construction for its Khavda Renewable Energy Project in Gujarat. Under this earlier contract, Vikram Solar will supply high-efficiency N-type Hypersol G12R modules, which are noted for their improved bifacial performance in hot climates and a low yearly degradation rate of 0.4%.
Company Profile and Market Performance
Vikram Solar is one of India's leading solar module manufacturers, focusing on efficient photovoltaic (PV) module production. The company has established an international footprint across 39 countries. The share price of Vikram Solar has recorded a slight uptick in recent months, rising 1.63 percent so far this year. The AB Energia order represents another step in Vikram Solar's expansion within India's growing renewable energy sector, particularly in states that are actively pursuing clean energy initiatives.
The deployment of these high-efficiency modules across the three states will contribute to the ongoing green energy push in these regions.
