THDC inaugurates Indias Largest Green Hydrogen Pilot based on PEM Fuel Cell

THDC India has inaugurated the country’s largest green hydrogen pilot project at its office complex in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. The THDC chairman and managing director stated that it will produce 50 kg of hydrogen every day utilizing energy from a 1 MW rooftop solar plant.

The project features two high-tech storage tanks, safely retaining the produced green hydrogen until its utilization. And when the sun sets, another marvel takes center stage: a 70 KW PEM fuel cell. This efficient device reverses the electrolysis process, combining the stored hydrogen with oxygen to generate electricity, illuminating the THDCIL office complex throughout the night.
