StarCharge, a global leader in integrated energy solutions, has entered into a strategic agreement with Prozeal Green Energy, one of India's major EPC and IPP companies, to supply up to 1 GW of advanced battery energy storage systems (BESS). This partnership represents a crucial milestone in India's clean energy development, aligning with the country's target of achieving 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.

1 GWh Deployment to Support India’s Renewable Transition

Under the agreement, StarCharge will provide its innovative 5 MWh Container Energy Storage Systems. These systems are designed to boost grid stability and enable seamless integration of renewable energy. The 1 GWh of BESS capacity is scheduled for deployment within the next year, significantly enhancing India’s power infrastructure and advancing the adoption of large-scale clean energy solutions.

Beyond this landmark deal in India, StarCharge recently secured a 100 MWh BESS contract with a major client in Eastern Europe. That project, announced in August, will follow a phased delivery schedule with initial shipments set to begin before year-end. The agreement reflects the company’s strong execution capability and expanding global footprint in the energy storage market.
