Skybox Is Planning to Construct a Massive 300 MW Build-To-Suit Data Center Campus in Dallas, Texas

Skybox Data Centers will collaborate with Bandera Ventures and Principal Asset Management to construct a new  300 MW  Data center facility in Lancaster, Texas. PowerCampus Dallas will cover an area of 1 million square feet of space with a private onsite substation. The project will be eligible for state tax incentives.

Rob Morris CEO of Skybox data centers said that PowerCampus will significantly increase the bar in the North Texas data center market and beyond. He also added that the partnership will bring together expertise in multiple disciplines that are critical for delivering significant capacity in the data center market in US.

Bandera Ventures is a major player in the commercial real estate market. The company has developed more than 100 million square feet of space. For the Dallas project, the capital investment partner will be Principal Asset Management, which is the investment arm of Principal Financial Group.  The organization has committed over USD 3 billion to the data center sector over the past 17 years.
