The Nordex Group has recorded 155 MW of new wind turbine orders spanning multiple countries in Southern Europe and Türkiye, the Hamburg-based manufacturer announced on 9 June 2026. The contracts cover the supply and installation of 34 wind turbines and include multi-year service and maintenance agreements.

Scope of the Orders

The newly secured contracts involve turbines from Nordex's Delta and Delta 4000 Series product lines. Each turbine has been configured to match the specific wind conditions and site requirements of its respective project location, reflecting the company's approach to tailoring equipment to local operational environments. The 34 turbines collectively represent 155 MW of generating capacity across the multiple project sites involved.

Nordex did not disclose the names of the customers or the wind farms associated with the contracts. The announcement confirmed only that the orders were secured across multiple Southern European countries, with additional orders also placed in Türkiye.

Installation and Commissioning Timeline

According to the announcement, the projects are expected to be installed and commissioned between spring 2027 and early 2028. The phased timeline across that period reflects the geographic spread of the projects and the logistical requirements of deploying 34 turbines across several markets simultaneously.

All of the contracts are accompanied by multi-year service and maintenance agreements. Nordex stated that these agreements are designed to ensure long-term operational efficiency and high availability of the turbines once they are brought online.

Product Lines Involved

The orders draw on two of Nordex's established turbine series. The Delta Series and the Delta 4000 Series both sit within the company's broader onshore product portfolio, which is focused on turbines in the 4 to 7 MW and above class.
