LONGi Hydrogen Launches HyBlock and HySmart Solutions at World Hydrogen Week 2025
LONGi Hydrogen unveiled two major innovations at World Hydrogen Week 2025 in Copenhagen, Denmark, on October 8, 2025. The company launched LONGi HyBlock and LONGi HySmart, representing an end-to-end innovation across equipment, modular system design, and intelligent operation and maintenance for advancing large-scale green hydrogen deployment.

Since its establishment in 2021, LONGi Hydrogen has achieved over 500 MW of cumulative global orders, with footprints spanning 10 countries and regions. The company has progressed from pilot demonstrations to commercial-scale projects, gaining insights into the evolving challenges of the green hydrogen industry. As the sector moves toward large-scale applications, developers face dual pressures on both CAPEX and OPEX, including high equipment investment, complex system integration, and rising energy and maintenance costs.
LONGi HyBlock Modular Solution
LONGi HyBlock is an outdoor modular solution designed for hundred-megawatt to gigawatt-scale green hydrogen facilities. The system represents a departure from traditional indoor configurations by applying value-engineering principles. This enables electrolyzer systems to perform reliably under diverse outdoor conditions while shifting complex system integration from the construction site to the factory.
By combining standardization and prefabrication, HyBlock can deliver up to 35% savings in CAPEX and 40% shorter overall lead time, while significantly reducing uncertainty from decision-making to commissioning. Installation work can be reduced by approximately 65%, with fewer interfaces and higher parallel efficiency. The system is engineered for all-climate deployment, ensuring reliable operation in environments ranging from high-temperature areas to humid coastal regions.
LONGi Hydrogen has partnered with Morimatsu, a leader in large-scale modular design and manufacturing, to enable high-standard module production and efficient delivery for the HyBlock system. Ms. Marisol Wu, Business Development Manager of LONGi Hydrogen, presented HyBlock at the event, while Mr. Federico Gustavo, Pre-Sales Manager of LONGi Hydrogen, also presented the system. LONGi HySmart Intelligent Platform
LONGi HySmart is an intelligent operation and maintenance platform purpose-built for hydrogen production facilities. The platform addresses the growing operational complexity of green hydrogen deployment, where system reliability has become a decisive factor for project success. HySmart integrates real-time monitoring, diagnostic analytics, intelligent control, and AI-assisted optimization through digital twins and intelligent algorithms.
The platform tracks more than 30 key safety indicators and reduces inspection time by about 80%. It predicts potential equipment failures up to 72 hours in advance with over 98% accuracy.
