Inox Wind and KP Energy Sign Exclusive MoU for 2.5 GW Wind and Hybrid Power Projects Across India

Inox Wind Limited (IWL) and KP Energy Limited (KPE) have signed an exclusive Memorandum of Understanding to jointly develop 2.5 GW of wind and wind-solar hybrid power projects across multiple states in India. The strategic partnership aims to leverage the strengths of both companies in the renewable energy sector.

Partnership Structure and Responsibilities

The collaboration establishes clear divisions of responsibility between the two companies. Inox Wind will supply wind turbines and associated equipment, and provide engineering support, including USS design, transformer specifications, and foundation design. The company will also execute pre-commissioning and commissioning activities and perform operations and maintenance of wind turbine generators.

KP Energy will undertake project development activities and secure connectivity, land, and rights-of-way. The company will obtain statutory approvals and execute Balance of Plant (BoP) and EPC works. KPE will also manage operations and maintenance of the Balance of Plant infrastructure.

This integrated approach is designed to ensure timely, seamless, and high-quality project execution by combining the core competencies of both organizations.
