The Gujarat Chief Minister, Bhupendrabhai Patel, laid the foundation stone for CtrlS’s new data center facility in GIFT City, Gujarat. CtrlS will invest around USD 30 million for this data center facility project. The project named ‘CtrlS Gandhinagar 1 DC’ will create 1000 direct and indirect job opportunities. Furthermore, the new colocation facility will be Gujarat's first Tier-4 data center facility.

The expansion of CtrlS data centers into the state will further improve the digital infrastructure ecosystem in the area. Sridhar Pinnapureddy, Chairman of CtrlS Data Centers Ltd., stated that the facility, which is located in GIFT City, will be easily accessible to all major clusters in the state.

“GIFT City is a global financial hub and home to several large international and national BFSI (banking, financial services, and insurance) companies and is an ideal location for us," he added.

Currently, the organization has around 234 MW of IT capacity across its established facilities. The company recently announced a USD 2 billion investment plan for the next six years. The company unveiled its plans to develop a 10 MW data center in Uttarakhand, India. Additionally, the company is also working on a 150 MW data center campus in Thailand.
