CETY Secures Letter of Intent for Multiple Battery Energy Storage Projects in New York
Clean Energy Technologies, Inc. announced on October 8, 2025, that it has entered into a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Lease Advisory Group (LAG) to serve as the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor for multiple Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in New York. The Irvine, California-based clean energy technology company will provide comprehensive EPC services for projects located across New York State.
Project Specifications and Revenue Model
Each project site is expected to integrate 5MW / 20 MWh of energy storage capacity, paired with rooftop solar and electric vehicle charging loads. The battery energy storage systems will be designed to generate revenue through New York State's Value of Distributed Energy Resources (VDER) program and ancillary grid services. Additionally, the systems will support reliability, resilience, and decarbonization of the state's power grid.
Comprehensive EPC Services
Under the terms of the LOI, CETY will provide a complete scope of EPC services for the battery storage projects. The company's responsibilities will include planning, preliminary and detailed engineering design, and procurement of equipment, materials, and services. CETY will also handle construction, installation, quality control, testing, and commissioning of the systems.
The company must ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements, domestic content standards, and other regulatory requirements throughout the project development process.
