Dilip Buildcon Ltd. & Rajpath Infracon Pvt. Ltd. have won packages 1,2,3, & 4 of the Bengaluru – Vijayawada Economic Corridor- a six-lane access-controlled greenfield highway. At USD 2,304 million (INR 19200 Crores) bidding amount, the 518 km highway will pass through the Indian states of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
The project is being built under the Bharatmala Pariyojana (BMP) Phase 2 & will be completed by 2025 under a Hybrid Annuity Model. As per NHAI, it is a mix of brownfield upgrades (36%) and greenfield (64%) and will be named BKV Expressway as the route pass through Kadapa in Andhra Pradesh.

The greenfield section of the project, spanning 343 km and linking Kodikonda, AP to Addanki, AP, has been partitioned into 14 civil packages. As a result of this arrangement, financial proposals for four packages have been revealed, while bids for the remaining ten are still ongoing.
