Matt Jore, Chief Executive Officer of AirJoule Technologies, described the announcement as a direct continuation of the company's earlier involvement with the Hub's start-up program.
AirJoule participated in the first cohort of the Net Zero Start-up Hub, during which it worked with data center operators and industry experts to align its technology with the specific requirements of the sector.
"When we joined the Net Zero Start-Up Hub earlier this year, our objective was to move AirJoule from demonstration toward deployment inside a working data center," Jore said.
"This collaboration delivers on that objective. By installing an AirJoule Prime system at a Hub member site, we will validate how waste heat from data centers can be converted into a usable water resource at commercial scale."

Hub's Rationale for Exploring Heat-to-Water
Alberto Ravagni, CEO of the Net Zero Innovation Hub for Data Centers, pointed to the heterogeneity of data center infrastructure as a driver for exploring multiple heat reuse pathways. Not every facility can connect to district heating systems, and that limitation has pushed the Hub to investigate alternative ways of creating value from generated heat.
