ADNOC Gas plc and its subsidiaries announced on November 3, 2026, a five-year liquefied natural gas supply agreement with TotalEnergies covering up to 1.6 million tonnes of LNG. The announcement was made in Abu Dhabi, where ADNOC Gas is headquartered and listed on the ADX under the symbol ADNOCGAS.
The company described the deal as building on the long-standing partnership between ADNOC Gas and TotalEnergies, stating that the agreement reflects continued confidence in ADNOC Gas's supply reliability and delivery track record. TotalEnergies remains a shareholder and strategic partner of ADNOC Gas.
Executives Point to Growing Global Demand
Fatema Al Nuaimi, Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Gas, said that global demand for LNG continues to grow and that ADNOC Gas is well positioned to capture that opportunity.
She added that the agreement reflects the strength of the company's LNG business, the competitiveness of its supply offering, and its ability to secure long-term partnerships that support growth, enhance resilience and create lasting value for shareholders.
On the TotalEnergies side, Stéphane Michel, President Gas, Renewables & Power, said the signing marks another important milestone in the long-standing partnership and highlights the company's commitment to deepening cooperation for the long term.
He noted that, thanks to ADNOC Gas's location between Europe and Asia, the new supply will enable TotalEnergies to confirm its position as one of the main LNG portfolio suppliers.
Deal Follows Launch of Integrated Global LNG Platform
The agreement comes as ADNOC advances its newly launched global LNG marketing and trading platform. The platform brings together the LNG marketing activities of ADNOC Gas and XRG with the trading capabilities of ADNOC Trading in an integrated commercial structure.
For ADNOC Gas, the company said the platform represents the next phase in its evolution as a global LNG supplier, expanding access to a broader and more diversified LNG portfolio while enabling more flexible and customer-focused supply solutions.
The platform is targeting 47 million tonnes per annum of marketable LNG beyond 2030 and is expected to rank among the world's leading LNG marketing and trading organizations, while further strengthening Abu Dhabi's position as a global energy trading hub. ADNOC Gas's LNG marketing activities contribute to this platform, which is designed to serve customers across key international markets.

Growth Ambitions and Ruwais LNG Integration
According to the press release, the agreement supports ADNOC Gas's long-term growth ambitions as the company continues to expand its LNG business and strengthen its presence in global markets.
The company said that with the future integration of Ruwais LNG expected to significantly increase LNG production capacity, ADNOC Gas is well positioned to meet growing global demand and further establish itself as one of the world's leading LNG suppliers.
ADNOC Gas describes itself as a large-scale integrated gas processing and sales company operating across the gas value chain, from receipt of feedstock from ADNOC through gas processing and fractionation to the sale of products to domestic and international customers. The company supplies approximately 60% of the UAE's sales gas needs and supplies end customers in over 20 countries.
TotalEnergies, for its part, is a global integrated energy company producing and marketing oil and biofuels, natural gas, biogas and low-carbon hydrogen, renewables and electricity. The company has more than 100,000 employees and is active in about 120 countries.
Partnership Context
The new supply agreement extends a commercial relationship that both companies characterized as long-standing. TotalEnergies holds a position as a shareholder and strategic partner of ADNOC Gas, and the two firms framed the five-year LNG deal as a deepening of that cooperation rather than a new commercial relationship.
No financial terms of the agreement were disclosed in the announcement. The release did not specify delivery destinations, pricing mechanisms, or the start date of supply beyond the stated five-year term and the volume of up to 1.6 million tonnes of LNG.
