Digital Edge will invest USD 4.5 billion in the development of Indonesia’s largest AI-ready hyperscale data center campus, with the project located at GIIC Industrial Estate in Bekasi, near Jakarta.
Upon completion, the 500 MW CGK campus has the potential to scale up to 1 GW in the future, making it the largest hyperscale data center development in Indonesia.
To reach a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) target of 1.25, the campus is designed to support AI workloads and hyperscale deployments, focusing on energy efficiency and sustainability. The facility includes advanced features such as direct-to-chip liquid cooling, recycled water systems, and renewable energy integration. The CGK campus, as a carrier-neutral data center, offers connectivity options, network diversity, and access to the digital ecosystem.
To ensure low-latency connectivity to business areas in Jakarta and to strengthen Indonesia’s data center ecosystem, Digital Edge has strategically located the campus less than 15 km from data center clusters and around 40 km from Digital Edge’s EDGE1 and EDGE2 facilities.
The CGK data center campus will be developed in three data center buildings in phases. The first phase will get operational in Q4 2026, the second in Q1 2027, and the third in Q2 2027.

JC4 Bekasi Regency Data Center - Hyperscale Campus in Jakarta of Princeton Digital Group (PDG)
Princeton Digital Group (PDG) has secured land and power for a planned 240 MW capacity and is expanding with a hyperscale data center campus, JC4, in Greater Jakarta. This will expand its presence in Indonesia, enabling it to increase its portfolio to 400 MW in the key market.

EDGNEX data centers, backed by DAMAC Group, are developing their second data center in Jakarta, Indonesia, with a planned capacity of 144 MW and an investment of USD 2.3 billion, and it will be one of the largest next-generation AI-powered data centers in Southeast Asia.
The project’s land was acquired in March 2025. The site is now in early construction phases, and the first phase is expected to be ready by December 2026.
