Why It Matters

A few percentage points of win rate is a revenue engine

Win rate is the highest-leverage number in a project-based sales organization. At a 22% win rate, a team closing 30 deals a year is submitting roughly 136 bids. Moving conversion to 26% wins five to six additional contracts from the exact same bid volume — no extra headcount, no extra proposals, no bigger budget.

Earlier discovery is the most reliable way to move that number. Teams that engage owners and developers before the RFP is drafted help shape scope, build relationships and pre-position references — advantages no proposal polish can recover once the tender is public and the field is crowded.

✓
Same effort, more wins: The model holds your bid volume constant and only changes conversion — the most conservative way to model intelligence-driven growth.
✓
Profit-true ROI: Returns are computed on incremental profit at your margin, net of the tracker cost — not vanity revenue multiples.
✓
Instant payback math: See how many weeks of incremental profit cover a full year of the subscription.
How It Works

Three steps to your number

01

Enter today's numbers

Deals closed, average contract value, current win rate and margin — straight from your CRM or annual review.

02

Set a realistic uplift

Teams engaging pre-tender typically test 3-8 percentage points. Use the Conservative scenario if you want a floor case.

03

Read the bridge

The revenue waterfall shows today's revenue, the lift, and the combined total — with ROI and payback beneath it.

Methodology & assumptions

The model derives your annual bid volume from deals closed and win rate, then re-converts the same volume at the improved rate. Incremental deals, revenue and profit follow from your averages.

Bids per year = Deals closed ÷ Win rate
Additional deals = Bids × (Win rate + Uplift) - Deals closed
Additional revenue = Additional deals × Avg. contract value
Additional profit = Additional revenue × Margin
ROI = (Additional profit - Tracker cost) ÷ Tracker cost
Payback = Tracker cost ÷ (Additional profit ÷ 12)
