Wind turbine manufacturer Vestas announced three new orders totaling 277 MW for EnVentus wind turbines in Finland as part of its fourth-quarter order intake. All three projects will be delivered to the customer, OX2 AB, in the Northern and Central Europe region.

Project Details and Specifications

The largest of the three projects is the Kannisto wind farm, which will feature 124 MW of capacity through 20 V162-6.2 MW turbines. Delivery is planned to begin in the second quarter of 2027, with commissioning scheduled to start in the third quarter of 2027.

The Korkeamaa project will generate 108 MW using a combination of 15 V162-6.4 MW turbines and 2 V162-6.2 MW turbines. Both delivery and commissioning for this project are planned to begin in the second quarter of 2027.

The smallest project, Salo-Ylikoski, will produce 45 MW through 7 V162-6.4 MW turbines. Like the Korkeamaa project, both delivery and commissioning are planned to begin in the second quarter of 2027.

Service Agreements

All three Finnish projects will include comprehensive 25-year AOM 5000 Service Agreements. These long-term service contracts will cover the maintenance and operation of the wind turbines throughout their operational lifespan.
