TotalEnergies has acquired a pipeline of solar and battery projects in the UK, comprising 8 solar projects with a capacity of 350 MW and 2 battery storage projects with a capacity of 85 MW. The projects, acquired from Low Carbon, a leading renewable energy company, are expected to be operational by 2028 and will generate electricity equivalent to the consumption of around 100,000 UK households.
Project Details
The solar projects are located in the south of England and are at an advanced stage of development. Once operational, they will produce more than 350 GWh/year of renewable electricity. The battery storage projects will complement the solar projects, providing flexible power generation capacities.
