Technip Energies has been awarded a significant engineering services contract by Larsen & Toubro Energy Hydrocarbon to support a major offshore project for ADNOC Offshore in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the French technology and engineering company announced on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

Contract Scope and Value

The contract, classified by Technip Energies as "significant," represents between USD 58.3 million and USD 291.6 million in revenue and was recorded in the third quarter of 2026 within the company's Technology, Products and Services segment.

Under the agreement, Technip Energies will provide detailed engineering services for a project that ADNOC Offshore recently awarded to a consortium led by Larsen & Toubro Energy Hydrocarbon.

The underlying ADNOC Offshore project covers the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of new offshore facilities, as well as modifications and upgrades to existing infrastructure. Technip Energies' role is specifically focused on the detailed engineering portion of that broader scope.

Capabilities Brought to Bear

Technip Energies stated that it will draw on its local engineering capabilities in the region and its experience with complex, large-scale offshore projects in the Middle East to fulfill the contract. The company described the award as strengthening its position in high-end engineering services.

Loïc Chapuis, President, Project Delivery and Services at Technip Energies, said the selection reflects the trust placed in the company's engineering excellence and its track record in delivering complex offshore projects.

Building on an Established Partnership

The contract also extends a long-standing working relationship between Technip Energies and Larsen & Toubro. According to the announcement, the two companies have collaborated across a broad range of upstream, downstream, and energy infrastructure projects worldwide, and this award adds an additional dimension to that partnership within the Middle East offshore sector.

Larsen & Toubro Energy Hydrocarbon, the entity that awarded the contract to Technip Energies, is the arm of the Indian engineering conglomerate Larsen & Toubro focused on the hydrocarbon sector.

It led the consortium that secured the EPCIC contract from ADNOC Offshore, making it the primary contractor under which Technip Energies will operate for the engineering services scope.
