Spanish construction firm ACS Group, one of the largest EPC companies in the world, will build a 50 MW data center in Madrid. The Data Center facility is expected to start its operations in 2025.
The company has closed the purchase of 6.7 hectares of land from fund manager Arcano Partners. Arcano Partners will manage and process the land until it reaches the early development phase. All the necessary permits have been obtained to start the construction. ACS subsidiary firm, Iridium will operate the data center facility.
The Data Center facility is located in the premium location of Henares Corridor. Henares corridor is a prime location, preferred by hyper-scale data center companies. The Corridor offers unbeatable connection through the main fiber connectivity on the peninsula, which runs along the A-2 axis, connecting Madrid with Barcelona.
