Saint Gobain To Invest $ 400 Million In Tamil Nadu

Saint Gobain recently announced its investment of  USD 400 million in the state of Tamil Nadu. On October 6th, the Saint Gobain Global board represented by Chairman Mr. Pierre-Andre de Chalender and CEO Mr. Benoit Bazoin, met Chief Minister M K Stalin. Currently, Saint Gobain is committed to a series of greenfield and brownfield investments in several manufacturing sectors in the state. Furthermore, the Group is planning to infuse about USD 961 million in the next 4-5 years.

 

B Santhanam, CEO of Asia Pacific and India region and Chairman of Saint Gobain India said “We are investing INR 3400 Crores across different businesses: Glasswool, Gypsum, Plasterboard, Plaster, Acoustic Ceiling, Float Glass, Solar Glass, Adhesives, Sealants, Mortars and Ceramics in our next phase of expansion in Tamil Nadu. As pioneers in Light and Sustainable Construction, we are well-poised to provide building material solutions that combine performance, aesthetics, and sustainability.”
