The PNE Group has received official permits for the development of three new onshore wind farms in Brandenburg, Hesse, and North Rhine-Westphalia, marking another step in the company’s mission to drive the renewable energy transition in Germany.

Project Overview

The approved projects include:

• Gerdshagen (Brandenburg): Expansion of the existing wind farm with an additional turbine.

• Holzhäuser Berg (Hesse): A single wind turbine with a 7.2 MW capacity.

• Niederkrüchten (North Rhine-Westphalia): Construction of five turbines totaling 33 MW.

Combined, the three sites will provide 46 MW of wind energy capacity enough to power around 36,000 three-person households annually.

The Niederkrüchten Wind Farm is part of a larger energy park that will also feature a 20 MWp solar photovoltaic plant, further reinforcing the region’s clean energy output.
