NYAB Finland Oy has signed an agreement covering the first stage of early works for a planned data centre campus in Utajärvi, Finland. Work will commence immediately under the contract, which was announced on 9 October 2026.
First stage of early works underway
The campus is being developed through Data Tank Nordic Oy, the project company of AMP Tank AG. The assignment comprises site preparation and infrastructure works required for the development of the campus.
The agreement includes options to increase the scope of the early works. The contract value will not be disclosed.
Potential scale of the campus
The early work forms the initial step of the planned campus development. If implemented in full, the campus would comprise four data halls with a combined capacity of 200 MW, along with associated infrastructure.
NYAB's involvement in the broader implementation of the project is currently under negotiation and would be subject to separate agreements.

Finland's Data Center Boom Is Moving Fast; Will You See It Coming?
Every hyperscale campus, colocation expansion, and edge facility announcement in Finland represents millions in contracts up for grabs. The operators who move first, securing land, power, and vendor relationships early, consistently capture the lion's share of opportunity.
The challenge? Project intelligence scattered across press releases, permitting portals, and tender databases is nearly impossible to consolidate manually. That's precisely where structured, real-time tracking becomes a competitive advantage rather than a luxury.
The Global Project Tracking (GPT) platform by Blackridge Research delivers comprehensive coverage of data center developments across Finland, giving you early visibility into every stage of the project lifecycle.
