Fort Myers, Fla.-based Northstar Enterprise + Defense, a subsidiary of Northstar Technologies Group, Inc. (NTGI), is expanding its operations to a new 153,000-square-foot headquarters and production campus in Fort Myers, the company announced on Oct. 21, 2026.
The move, disclosed in a press release, comes amid what the company describes as record growth in its modular data center (MDC) business serving enterprise AI, telecommunications, and defense markets.
A Campus Nearly Triple the Size of Existing Operations
The new headquarters is nearly 265% larger than the company's existing manufacturing facility in Bonita Springs, Fla. According to the announcement, the expanded campus will significantly increase production capacity, accelerate speed-to-market, and support construction of the company's complete MDCs, which feature a patented fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composite building system made from 100% U.S.-made recyclable glass.
The company describes the FRP material as an aerospace-grade structural material adapted for construction at scale, offering customers benefits including strength, durability, security, thermal efficiency, and environmental properties.
Revenue Growth From USD 11.5 Million to a Projected USD 450 Million
The expansion comes amid what the company characterizes as industry-leading growth. NTGI, founded in 2020, is forecasting USD 450 million in recognized revenue for 2026, up from USD 11.5 million in 2025, with committed sales projected to reach USD 1.3 billion this year. The company has grown to a team of more than 100 across its operations and continues to hire to support its expanding production capacity.
"Today's data center demands require a different approach to how infrastructure is designed, built, and deployed," said Paul Inglese, Chief Executive Officer of NTGI.
"Our MDCs use our advanced composite material to deliver unique benefits over traditional building materials such as concrete and steel. Combined with a modular design, we're able to provide a more adaptable approach to building and scaling critical infrastructure. The record growth we're experiencing reflects the value customers place on this flexibility, high performance, and efficiency, and our new headquarters will enable us to meet the industry's growing demand."

Modular Data Centers Built for Rapid Deployment
Northstar Enterprise + Defense's MDCs are built with the company's FRP composite materials and are purpose-engineered for enterprise, telecom, and U.S. defense applications, with the ability to deploy in as little as 90 days. The MDC product line offers F5 tornado and Category 5 hurricane-rated enclosures, advanced insulation and thermal performance, and corrosion-resistant, low-maintenance construction.
The units use helical piling foundations to support rapid installation, while IoT-enabled monitoring and predictive maintenance capabilities are designed to help customers manage performance throughout the life of the facility.
The company's MDCs are up to 30% lighter than aluminum structures, according to the announcement, enabling deployment in locations that can be challenging for traditional data center construction, including rooftops and sites without prepared foundations.
The systems are designed for recyclability and net-zero carbon manufacturing, and the company states they can help reduce embodied emissions compared with traditional steel or concrete structures.
Strategic Collaborations Across the Industry
Northstar Enterprise + Defense is advancing its MDC platform through strategic collaborations with industry leaders, including Owens Corning, Leidos, Dell Federal, Eaton, Carahsoft, Duos Edge AI, Bridgepointe Technologies, 10X Capital, and Netceed.
According to the company, these relationships bring together expertise across advanced building materials, edge AI, connectivity, and technology infrastructure, helping Northstar Enterprise + Defense expand the capabilities of its MDCs while creating more integrated solutions for customers.
Further Expansion Under Evaluation
The new headquarters is the latest step in the company's broader expansion strategy. Northstar Enterprise + Defense is evaluating an additional facility of similar size in the same industrial park, potentially acquiring the space by the end of the year, and will maintain its manufacturing operations in Bonita Springs, Fla.
The company is also evaluating further U.S. expansion in the Northeast, including the Atlantic City, N.J. area, and in Texas over the next year.

Stay Ahead of the United States Data Center Boom Before the Ground Is Even Broken
Every hyperscale campus, colocation facility, and edge deployment in the United States starts with a signal, a land acquisition, a power agreement, or an early permit filing. The companies that capture these signals first are the ones that win the supply contracts, the construction bids, and the long-term partnerships that follow.
