Envision Energy, which describes itself as a global leader in green technology, announced during the WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 trade fair that several of its wind turbine models and innovative tower technologies have obtained certifications from UL Solutions.

According to the company, the certifications demonstrate its continuing efforts to strengthen technology adaptation, product certification and compliance with grid standards in global markets. The announcement was dated 30 September 2026 in Hamburg, Germany.

The company said the certifications cover, among others, its EN-182/6.25 MW wind turbine model and a lattice tower technology used in combination with its EN-182/7.8 MW smart wind turbine. Two ceremonies were associated with the news: one for the Spanish onshore grid certification and another for the Australian onshore type certification.

Spanish Grid Code Compliance for the EN-182/6.25 MW

The EN-182/6.25 MW turbine from Envision Energy has officially received certification of conformity with the Spanish grid code at the unit or equipment level, in accordance with the NTS 2.1 standard.

Compliance with power grid standards is described in the announcement as a key technical requirement for the deployment of wind turbines and the development of projects in the European market.

According to the release, the certification confirms that the relevant Envision turbine models are technically capable of meeting the applicable requirements of the Spanish grid. The company said this further strengthens its market readiness in Europe and supports customers in project development and financing.

Australian Type Certification for the Nabralift Tower

UL Solutions also granted type certification for the Australian market to the Nabralift 3.MAX HH188 lattice tower technology, which is used together with Envision's EN-182/7.8 MW smart wind turbine. The certified solution reaches a hub height of 188 meters, which the company says gives greater freedom in turbine design and wind farm planning.

Envision stated that the greater hub height can help with access to stronger wind resources and broaden the potential for wind energy development across a wider range of sites in Australia.

The certification also provides independent verification of Envision's integrated wind turbine and tower solution against the relevant technical and engineering requirements. The company said this supports the solution's application and potentially wide-scale deployment in the Australian market.

Foundation for Broader Coverage and Global Expansion

The certifications also provide a technical basis for extending coverage to other turbine variants and models, according to the announcement. Envision Energy said it is continuing to expand its certification portfolio in other European countries and in global markets.

This effort is aimed at addressing differing grid codes, technical standards, environmental conditions and project requirements. It also enables the company to offer increasingly localized and market-ready wind energy solutions in global markets, the release said.
