CWHI has successfully dispatched the third batch of eight XXL monopiles for the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm project. The monopiles departed from the Qinzhou yard aboard the COSCO vessel “XIANG YUNKOU,” marking another milestone in the ongoing project.
Project Progress and Deliveries
This latest shipment follows the completion and delivery of two earlier batches, totaling sixteen XXL monopiles. The first shipment arrived on schedule at the Port of Leith earlier this month, while the second batch is due to arrive imminently, also on time.
Including this latest departure, CWHI has now successfully delivered a total of twenty-four XXL monopiles for the project. The company's scope for the Inch Cape project includes the fabrication of thirty-two XXL monopiles at its Qinzhou yard and thirty transition pieces at its Zhongshan and Longxue facilities.
