Ceigall India has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) to develop 147 MW (AC) solar PV generating stations in two districts of Maharashtra. The project carries an EPC cost of INR 597.00 crore, including GST, and is expected to be executed within 18 months, with a 25-year operational period.
Project Details and Timeline
The solar project is part of the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 (MSKVY 2.0) Scheme and represents a continuation of Ceigall India's earlier 337 MW solar order under the same scheme. The company secured its first project under this scheme on September 7, 2025, which involved setting up grid-connected solar power projects at multiple locations across Maharashtra.
Under the mandate of the tender, Ceigall India will operate, maintain, and supply power for 25 years under a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). The project is designed to be completed within an 18-month timeframe from the award date.

Technology and Implementation Strategy
The company plans to deploy advanced solar modules and inverters for the project to ensure high efficiency and optimal generation output. With an operational lifespan of 25 years, the plant is expected to contribute significantly to Maharashtra's renewable energy capacity and help the state meet its clean energy targets under the MSKVY 2.0 Scheme. The MSKVY 2.0 Scheme aims to promote solar power adoption across agricultural and government infrastructure, providing farmers and institutions with a reliable and sustainable energy source while reducing dependence on conventional electricity.
Ceigall India's Maharashtra Expansion
The new project further strengthens Ceigall India's presence in Maharashtra, where it has steadily expanded its portfolio of grid-connected solar projects. By integrating advanced technology and efficient project management practices, the company aims to maximize plant performance while minimizing operational risks. This project highlights the growing role of private developers in driving India's renewable energy expansion.
The company's involvement in the MSKVY 2.0 Scheme demonstrates its commitment to supporting Maharashtra's clean energy transition through large-scale solar infrastructure development. The 147 MW project adds to Ceigall India's existing portfolio in the state, building on the foundation established with its earlier 337 MW solar order. The combined projects represent a significant investment in Maharashtra's solar energy infrastructure, contributing to the state's broader renewable energy objectives.
