Hyderabad-based Blue Cloud Softech Solutions has announced that its wholly owned United States subsidiary has entered into a Statement of Work valued at USD 150 million with SpaceX International Ltd, a Malaysia-based technology company, covering artificial intelligence infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and data center solutions over an 18-month period.

Deal Structure and Contractual Terms

The Statement of Work was signed under a Master Services Agreement between the two companies dated July 9, 2026, and carries a minimum contractual commitment of USD 150 million, according to a regulatory filing made by Blue Cloud Softech with the BSE.

The agreement divides the total contract value across four distinct service segments: AI infrastructure at USD 70 million, data centeR solutions at $30 million, and cybersecurity and telecommunications, each valued at USD 25 million.

The project is structured to be implemented across five phases over six quarterly billing periods. Execution will begin with an assessment and design phase before progressing through subsequent stages and ultimately transitioning into managed operations by the sixth quarter.

Scope of Technical Work

Under the agreement, Blue Cloud Softech Solutions' US subsidiary will design, build, integrate, secure, connect, and operate an AI computing and data center platform for SpaceX International. The technical scope includes building GPU and accelerator clusters and establishing infrastructure to support machine learning operations and model serving.

On the cybersecurity side, the work includes deploying a Security Operations Center equipped with security information and event management systems, as well as security orchestration, automation, and response capabilities.

The telecommunications component encompasses network connectivity managed through a network operations center. The data center segment covers construction, commissioning, and disaster recovery capabilities.

Clarification on SpaceX International's Identity

Blue Cloud Softech's regulatory filing explicitly clarified that SpaceX International Ltd, the counterparty in this agreement, is a separate entity from Space Exploration Technologies Corp, the aerospace company commonly known as SpaceX and founded by Elon Musk.

The similarity in names has previously caused confusion in the market, and reports on earlier announcements by Blue Cloud had similarly noted that the Malaysia-based entity bears no relation to Musk's space and rocket company.
